Freshman Paul Thompson scored his first two goals with the Thunderwolves as Lakehead bounced Laurentian 7-1 last night in Sudbury in a rare Thursday game for LU. The T-Wolves improved their OUA record to 6-1 heading into the second game of the series tonight. Rookie netminder Justin McDonald recorded 25 saves and lost his shutout bid with just over a minute to play in the third period.
