Trevor Hynnes notched the hat trick as the Thunder Bay North Stars whipped the Wisconsin Wilderness 9-4 Monday night at the Fort William Gardens. The Stars (11-2-3), blew the game open with four unanswered goals in the second period. Alex Vaillant scored twice for the winners with single goals going to Brandon Wolframe, Brett Wolframe, Mathias Gardiman and Zach Grzelewski. Eric Mann got the win in net, splitting the goaltending duties with Jordan Kelso. The two teams meet again Saturday in Spooner, Wisconsin.
